Woody’s is the most highly respected golf practice facility in the Northern Virginia area.
Serving the golfing public since 1980, it remains the most attractive and well maintained range in the area.

We offer both Astroturf and natural grass practice surfaces. Our grass tee area features Patriot™ Bermuda grass and is open only on weekends and holidays during the Summer months. We charge an extra $2 dollar maintenance fee for the use of these grass tees. They are hand cut 4 times a week, sodded, fertilized, debugged, watered, and weeded in order to give each of our customers the feeling of being on “Tour”.

Our Astro turf mats are made by Monsanto. They are blown off every morning, rotated once a week and completely replaced every Spring. Heated, lighted, and covered stalls make it possible for you to work on your game all year round regardless of the weather.

Woody’s also has a bent grass putting green, two pitching and chipping areas with Ironmasters™ targets down range. A sand trap is available as well, enabling everyone the opportunity to tune up and hone their short game. We brought in PGA of America to laser our yardages and we use Pinnacle™ golf balls, made by Titleist™, to ensure that you know exactly how far you hit each of your clubs on a daily basis and can develop your game accordingly.
